My subscriptions are powered by Feedblitz, a third party provider. Subscription forms will pop-up in a new window, and all that is needed is your email address.

You have the option of 2 subscriptions:

Option 1:

Subscribe to the whole lot. If it’s been posted on The Student’s Desk, you’ll know about it with an email sent to your address.

Subscribe to the whole lot.

Option 2:

Subscribe to the devotions only. If it’s just a light look at the Bible to encourage you, this is for you. Devotions come out once a fortnight. If you’ve already subscribed to the whole lot, you don’t need to subscribe to the devotions. These are included.

Subscribe to devotions.

Worried about disclosing your email? Who isn’t these days? So you may find the following exert from Feedblitz’s privacy policy reassuring:

Email Addresses, Publishers and Subscriptions

When you subscribe to a feed published using the FeedBlitz, we will share your email address with the publisher of that feed [that’s me!], but with nobody else. You may set your profile preferences to be anonymous to stop such notifications.

Your email address will never otherwise be shared by FeedBlitz with third parties. To prevent spamming, we required all new subscription requests to be confirmed via email before they are activated.

Full privacy policy available here.

And I certainly wont use your email for any reason other than send updates, and contacting you concerning any unforeseen issues with the website. So I think you’re safe.

Having subscribed, you may also want to think about contributing financially to this work. I don’t demand contributions. It’s more important to me that people receive encouragement and grow in their faith. But contributions are greatly appreciated! See the denotions page for more details.

Subscriber by Reader (no email)

If you’re still uncomfortable about providing your email, you can put a reader on your iGoogle or My Yahoo personal page, or from another provider if you know of one. This means when you go to your iGoogle or My Yahoo personal page, you can quickly check what the latest is on The Student’s Desk. You’ll probably need a iGoogle or My Yahoo account to have a personal page. If you are using Gmail or Yahoo for email, this will be the same as having an account. Assuming you’re logged in to either Yahoo or Google, just follow the simple instructions below.

  1. Jason,

I was so encouraged to read your blog. I especially benefited by your notes on dealing with the disabled. I have a daughter that is deaf. Thankfully, much of her hearing has been “restored” with cochlear implants. May God bless you as you study and serve. Let’s keep in touch and maybe play a few more games of golf. :-)
